Worker Rescued After 12-Meter Crane Fall in Mülheim

An industrial incident in Mülheim an der Ruhr on Monday morning resulted in a worker being rescued from a crane track after becoming trapped at a hard-to-reach height. The incident occurred around 08:19 on Lippestraße in the Speldorf district.

The worker, whose identity has not been revealed, was found about 12 meters high on the crane track. Firefighters from two stations, along with a rescue service and a doctor, rushed to the scene. They used a turntable ladder to reach the worker and provide medical treatment. The cause of the incident remains unknown, with the worker complaining of pain. After being rescued, the worker was taken to hospital for further treatment. The police have taken over the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.

The Mülheim an der Ruhr fire department responded swiftly to the incident, with multiple vehicles and personnel involved in the rescue operation. The worker was successfully rescued and transported to hospital. The police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
