Unanticipated Crackdown on Lawbreakers during Amghara Campaign

In the South Amghara region of Jahra Governorate, the Kuwait Fire Force, in cooperation with multiple government agencies including the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the Public Authority for Industry, the Environment Public Authority, the Kuwait Municipality, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, and the Public Authority for Manpower, conducted an inspection campaign last Tuesday evening. The joint operation aimed to ensure buildings and facilities were compliant with safety and fire prevention regulations.

Following the inspections, numerous facilities were found to be non-compliant, resulting in their administrative closure for failing to meet the safety standards dictated by the Kuwait Fire Force, as well as those set by other government agencies. The Al-Anba daily reported the findings.

While specific details regarding the type of facilities closed have not been disclosed, the campaign in South Amghara represents part of a broader initiative by Kuwaiti authorities to maintain regulatory compliance and prevent potential hazards across various regions.

Simultaneously, another monitoring campaign was carried out in Amghara, focusing on building and facility compliance with safety and fire prevention regulations, uncovering various violations during the process. These inspections underscore the ongoing efforts to improve safety and regulatory compliance in Kuwait.

The authorities in Kuwait are taking steps to enhance safety and regulatory compliance, as revealed by the ongoing inspections in both South Amghara and Amghara. This extends to various sectors, including health-and-wellness facilities and establishments promoting science-based knowledge for the betterment of public welfare.

In line with its comprehensive approach to safety, the Kuwaiti government is working diligently to ensure the implementation of stringent regulations in health-and-wellness facilities, by addressing any non-compliance and promoting best practices for fire prevention in these settings.
