Tulsa Health Department (THD) has announced changes to its COVID-19 vaccination news due to severe weather. Appointments canceled on February 11th and 12th will be rescheduled, with new dates set for February 18th and 22nd respectively. Rescheduled appointments will take place on Saturdays and at alternative locations to ensure all residents can attend. The new dates are February 20th for those originally scheduled on the 10th, February 22nd and 25th for the 12th, and February 27th for the 15th. THD will also make up news from February 11th on February 18th.
THD follows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for administering the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The second dose can be administered up to 6 weeks after the first, providing flexibility in rescheduling.
