Strengthening Neighborhood Solidarity
The Multifaith Chaplaincy (MC) is a vital resource at our institution, offering a wide range of support services to students, staff, and faculty. Whether you're navigating themes such as grief and loss, self-confidence, or finding meaning, the MC is here to help.
The MC prides itself on its multipartial approach, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and supported, regardless of their beliefs or background. This inclusive environment extends to support for remembrances around grief or loss, regardless of scale.
The multifaith chaplain responsible for confidential conversations and care is not named, but confidential one-on-one pastoral care is available with David Dorsey. For those seeking a show of support from peers, the MC is ready to help facilitate this.
In addition to one-on-one care, the MC also offers group care and organizes gatherings such as candle-lighting, sharing readings or music, and 1:1 acknowledgements. If you require a multipartial show of support, an email to David Dorsey is all it takes to begin the process.
The MC upholds its multipartial commitments in its support services, never declaring sides or taking opinions. This neutrality extends to the non-judgemental, multipartial spaces they provide for personal matters.
David Dorsey is also available for email inquiries regarding confidential care and counsel, and he can help facilitate introductions to area religious leaders or spiritual coaches as needed.
In essence, the Multifaith Chaplaincy believes in supporting individuals from the beginning to the end of their story. Whether you're a first-year student seeking a sense of belonging, a mid-year student reflecting on your journey, or a final-year student looking for closure, the MC is here to help.
If you find yourself in need of support, don't hesitate to reach out to the Multifaith Chaplaincy. They're here to help you navigate life's challenges and find peace, no matter what you're going through.
