Stomatology equipment to be purchased by Belinvestbank for hospitals in regional areas
In a significant move to enhance healthcare services in Belarus, OAO "Belinvestbank" and the Ministry of Health have joined forces to equip healthcare organizations in district centers and small towns with modern medical equipment. This collaborative project, known as the "Health in Every Region", has been ongoing since 2023.
The partnership has seen the procurement of high-tech equipment annually for healthcare institutions, contributing to the enhancement of medical service quality, particularly in regions. One of the key pieces of equipment being introduced is the MT Smile C-450 dental unit, a high-quality, universal medical device made in Belarus by RUP "MedtechnoCenter". This device features an integrated screen, adjustable chair, and water and air filters.
Alexander Hodjaev, Minister of Health, stated that the cooperation between Belinvestbank and the Ministry of Health has been ongoing for several years, with the bank supplying various specialized care equipment. Oleg Kozaredov, Chairman of the Board of OAO "Belinvestbank" and Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies, mentioned the current goal of the project is to improve dental care.
The "Health in Every Region" project has already made a significant impact. For instance, the "Health in Every Region - 2023" project equipped hospitals in six district centers with Sonoscape HD-500 diagnostic complexes. The "Health in Every Region - 2024" project enabled the supply of electro-surgical generators to 12 district healthcare institutions. This year, the joint initiative "Health in Every Region - 2025" will involve the purchase of modern dental equipment, with the bank's help. By the end of the year, 30 dental units, complete with a compressor, will be installed in 21 healthcare institutions across the country.
These institutions include hospitals and clinics in the cities of Bereza, Pinsk, Luninets, Zhitkovichi, Lelchitsy, Rogachev, Lida, Novogrudok, Shuchin, Kleck, Molodechno, Borisov, Berezino, Bobruisk, Gorki, and Kostyukovichy.
Belinvestbank consistently adheres to the principle of contributing to societal development and supporting social initiatives, as evidenced by their involvement in ESG agendas through the 'Breathe' project. The bank's commitment to improving healthcare services in Belarus through the "Health in Every Region" project is a testament to this dedication.
