Schwickardi Family Sells Senior Care Homes to hesena Group
Elmira Schwickardi, CEO of the Schwickardi senior care homes, has announced a significant change. His wife, Elmira, took over the company after his passing in 2011 and has now decided to pass the torch to the hesena group. The official takeover of the two Oldenheim facilities, Seniorenpark 'Palais Dorndorf' in Dorndorf and 'Haus Hermesgarten' in Kaltennordheim, by the Volkssolidarität Bad Salzungen is set for October 1, 2025. As the Schwickardi family hands over the reins to the hesena group on January 1, 2026, they do so with confidence, knowing that their life's work will continue to provide dignified and respectful care to the elderly community in Thuringia.
