On Thursday, September 25, two experts from the City of Aschaffenburg's Department of Climate and Sustainability, Tibor Reidl and Andreas Jung, will be conducting a lecture on proper roof insulation. This informative session is scheduled to take place at VHS Aschaffenburg, Luitpoldstraße 2, starting at 7:00 PM and lasting until 8:30 PM.

The lecture aims to educate attendees on various insulation methods, including insulation on the rafters, under and/or between the rafters. Topics of discussion will also include the choice of insulation material, insulation thickness, and practical implementation on site.

Questions about energy saving, a healthy living environment, thermal insulation value, moisture protection, and summer heat protection will be addressed during the lecture. The speakers will also shed light on current funding programs for energy-efficient renovation, providing valuable information for those considering home improvements.

The attic, often overlooked in building insulation, plays a special role in this discussion. Attendees will gain insights into its importance and learn about effective strategies for insulating this crucial space.

Admission to the lecture is free, and for more information, including registration, please visit the VHS Aschaffenburg website at this link. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about proper roof insulation and how it can contribute to a more energy-efficient and comfortable home.
