Mona Kurtalic Takes on New Role as Advisor for Policy in the Pharmaceutical Industry
Mona Kurtalic, a health economist with a background in science, has taken on a new role as the Head of the Department of Healthcare and Industry Policy at the Federal Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (BPI) in Germany.
In her new position, Kurtalic will be responsible for representing the pharmaceutical industry's interests in healthcare policy and industry-related matters. Her primary goal will be to influence policy decisions and promote the sector's priorities within the German healthcare system.
Kurtalic is not new to the world of policy-making. Prior to her current role, she served as a scientific advisor for the FDP's parliamentary group on health policy. This role was within the FDP, a political party in Germany.
Now, she will be working alongside Sebastian Schuetze and Larissa Schmidt in her new role at the BPI. The BPI is the organization that Mona Kurtalic is now serving as Advisor for policy.
Kurtalic's expertise in health economics and her previous experience as a scientific advisor make her well-equipped for this new challenge. Her work will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the pharmaceutical industry and the healthcare system in Germany.
