A man from Ottawa, with a history of repeat sexual offences, was arrested at Monts Cascades Waterpark in Cantley, Quebec, on August 9, 2025. The arrest was made by MRC Des Collines police following reports of suspicious behaviour around children.
The man, in his 40s, was held in custody and appeared in court on August 10. He is facing charges of voyeurism, breach of conditions, impersonation, and obstruction of police work. The police have stated that the investigation is ongoing, and the suspect may face additional charges, including child pornography.
