London's First Skin Café Empowers Mature Women
London is set to welcome its first Health Insurance Café, a unique space dedicated to women aged 50 and above. Founded by Dr Amina Adeniran, a South London doctor and survivor of a life-threatening brain tumour, the Super-Skin Café aims to provide more than just skin consultations. It's a place for connection, well-being, and confidence-building for mature women.
Dr Adeniran, nearing completion of her Master's in Aesthetic Medicine, is launching the café during Women's Health Week (11th-17th May). The Super-Skin Café offers a range of services, including specialised treatments for mature skin like microneedling and skin peels, along with medical-grade skincare. But it's not just about aesthetics. The café hosts events, workshops, and drop-ins featuring experts in nutrition, HRT, psychiatry, and mindfulness, fostering a community of support and conversation.
Dr Adeniran's inspiration stems from her personal journey, surviving a brain tumour while pregnant and working as a GP. Her mission is to honour the 'warrior' within every ageing woman, providing treatments, compassion, dignity, and community. The café is a welcoming space where women can connect, learn, and redefine their experiences of beauty, health, and self-worth.
The Super-Skin Café, set to open soon in London, is more than just a clinic. It's a testament to Dr Amina Adeniran's journey and her commitment to supporting mature women. With a range of services and a community-focused approach, it promises to be a unique space for women to connect, learn, and thrive. Dr Adeniran's upcoming Master's degree and her 2025 Rose Global Recognition Award further underscore her dedication and innovation in the field of women's health.
