The Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre in Kathmandu has announced temporary contract vacancies for several positions. Here are the details:
Clinical Registrar Positions
The Centre is looking for a Clinical Registrar (Anesthesiology) and a Clinical Registrar (Thoracic Surgery). Each position has one vacancy.
For the Anesthesiology position, the minimum qualification is a Doctor of Medicine (Anesthesiology) or an equivalent degree from Tribhuvan University or a recognized institution. Candidates must have registration at the Nepal Medical Council. The application fee is Rs. 2,000. The written exam will be held on 2082/05/13 at 10:00 AM at the Centre's Seminar Hall.
For the Thoracic Surgery position, the minimum qualification is a Master of Surgery (MS) in Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery or Thoracic Surgery, or an equivalent degree from Tribhuvan University or a recognized institution. As with the Anesthesiology position, candidates must have registration at the Nepal Medical Council. The application fee is also Rs. 2,000, and the written exam will be held on the same day and time as the Anesthesiology exam.
Technical Assistant Positions
The Centre has two vacancies for the position of Chief Technical Assistant (Radiography). The minimum qualification is a Certificate Level in Radiography or an equivalent degree from Tribhuvan University or a recognized institution, with registration at the relevant council. The application fee is Rs. 1,500, and the written exam will be held on 2082/05/14 at 11:00 AM at Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Maharajgunj.
There is one vacancy for the position of Technical Assistant (Sewing). The minimum qualification is a Passed Secondary Education Examination (SEE) or an equivalent qualification in the relevant subject, or a Level 2 qualification in the relevant subject from CTEVT after SEE or an equivalent qualification. The written exam will be held on the same day and time as the Chief Technical Assistant (Radiography) exam.
Other Positions
There are two vacancies for the position of Chief Technical Assistant (Pharmacy). The minimum qualification is a Certificate Level in Pharmacy or an equivalent degree from Tribhuvan University or a recognized institution, with registration at the relevant council. The application fee is Rs. 1,500, and the written exam will be held on 2082/05/14 at 11:00 AM at Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Maharajgunj.
There is one vacancy for the position of Chief Technical Assistant (Information Technology). The minimum qualification is 10+2 with a Technical Stream in Computer Engineering, or a Proficiency Certificate Level in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology Education. The application fee is Rs. 1,500, and the written exam will be held on the same day and time as the Chief Technical Assistant (Pharmacy) exam.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted online through the Centre's website www.vacancy.mevtc.org.np. The application submission date is from 2082/04/27 to 2082/05/10. Interview dates and times will be announced with the publication of written exam results.
