Evidently, Anguiano had been stalking the woman for quite some time, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office. His dubious acts commenced as early as February, with him showing up at her workplace repeatedly. Store employees confronted him, but his questionable behavior persisted and escalated, culminating in him following her home and even sleeping outside her residence.
The SCSO reports furthermore that Anguiano had been seen checking doors to gain access to the residence and watching family members depart from it. Deputies used the victim's statements and video surveillance evidence to identify Anguiano as the suspect.
