With a staff of 60 employees, the Senftenberg station operates one of three ADAC helicopter stations offering round-the-clock air rescue services. The ADAC H145 T2 "Christoph Brandenburg" helicopter is among the fleet used for missions, including night-time rescues and specialized operations.
