Hansi Flick Undergoes Multiple Ankle Operations, Expected Full Recovery
Hansi Flick, the German national football team's coach, has undergone multiple operations on his ankle. The procedures were performed by ankle specialist Johannes Gabel in Murnau, who also treated Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala. Flick was admitted to the trauma clinic in Murnau am Staffelsee, Bavaria, due to complications from a previous surgery and a hospital germ infection.
Flick's stay in Murnau was extended due to additional procedures required during his treatment. Initially, one of the operations was scheduled for mid-June but resulted in a hospital infection. Unfortunately, this complication led to Flick spending over two weeks in stationary treatment at the clinic. Despite the setback, Flick is expected to make a full recovery and continue his role as the German national team's coach.
