GAP Hire Solutions Shortlisted for Health & Safety Award
GAP Hire Solutions has been shortlisted for a prestigious award recognizing its commitment to employee health, safety, and wellbeing. The company's innovative Interactive Toolbox Talks, a first in the hire industry, are at the heart of this nomination.
The Construction News Talent Awards 2019 will announce the winner of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Initiative of the Year on November 20 in London. GAP Hire Solutions, a leading hire company, has been shortlisted for this coveted award. The initiative recognizes organizations that prioritize employee health, safety, and wellbeing.
GAP's Interactive Toolbox Talks, accessible via an online portal, have been praised for promoting safety on construction sites. The tool covers 15 modules, including working at heights, hand-arm vibrations, and slips, trips, and falls. Douglas Anderson, GAP's Joint Managing Director, commended the tool for its positive impact on safety and employee engagement. Despite the positive feedback, GAP lost to Kier Group in this category.
GAP Hire Solutions' Interactive Toolbox Talks have been recognized as a leading health and safety initiative in the construction industry. Although not the ultimate winner, GAP's commitment to employee wellbeing is evident in its RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety, achieved for the second year running.
