The District Foundation Fuerth, a charitable organization under the umbrella of Sparkasse Fuerth, has made a significant donation of 2,500 euros to the 'Fuerth SCHOCKT!' project. This donation was presented by Landrat Bernd Obst, the Foundation Council Chairman, during a recent ceremony.
The 'Fuerth SCHOCKT!' project, which aims to save lives by quickly and effectively resuscitating individuals in an emergency, aligns perfectly with the District Foundation Fuerth's commitment to sustainably improving emergency care in the region and strengthening the population for emergencies.
The 'Region of Life Savers' app, which guides qualified first responders to the scene in an emergency, is one of the initiatives that the donation can be used to strengthen. The project also promotes the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), essential tools for improving survival chances during cardiac emergencies.
Landrat Bernd Obst, in his capacity as the Foundation Council Chairman, noted that the donation underscores the district foundation's dedication to improving healthcare this year. He further emphasised that the foundation council, which decides on the use of the annual income from the foundation capital, is committed to driving and supporting projects like 'Fuerth SCHOCKT!'.
