Families residing in Kolymsk are encouraged to join the annual cross-country event named "Mnogodnaya mila"
The Magadan Region is set to host an exciting event, the "Multichild Mile" cross-country race, on September 20, 2025, at the Kolyma sports complex. This event is organised by the Magadan Regional Public Organization of Large Families and the "Presidential" RC, with the support of the Magadan Region Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
The aim of the Multichild Mile is multi-faceted. It seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen family values, develop traditions of family sports, and encourage regional residents to engage in mass physical activities. The event is part of the annual sports festival "Healthy Family - Strong Russia," which is taking place in the Magadan Region on the same day.
Participants, both young and old, will need to provide a medical certificate of fitness for sports before taking part in the race. The competition will be held individually in the classic running style, with separate starts. Participants will be divided into age categories, ranging from children aged 6-9 to adults over 56. Each age group will cover a distance of one lap.
The event will culminate in a closing ceremony where each participant will be part of a celebration. Winners and prize-winners of each age group will be awarded medals and certificates. It is important to note that a mandatory presence of a voluntary life and health insurance policy against accidents is required for all participants.
Registration of participants will begin at 17:00 on September 20, 2025, at the Kolyma sports complex. The Dynamo Sports Club is involved in organising the Multichild Mile run as part of the annual sports festival "Healthy Family - Strong Russia."
