Encouraging heart health at the West Valley Heart Walk, as intended by the American Heart Association
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer in the U.S., and stroke is the No. 5 killer. These statistics highlight the importance of raising awareness and funds for research and prevention efforts. In an effort to combat these life-threatening conditions, Abrazo Health is proud to present the 2025 West Valley Heart Walk.
The 2025 West Valley Heart Walk is an opportunity for community members to come together and support the American Heart Association's mission. This family and pet-friendly event will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Goodyear Civic Square, Goodyear, AZ 85395.
The event will kick off at 9:00 am, with the walk commencing at 10:00 am. The 2025 West Valley Heart Walk will feature a 3-mile walk and a 1-mile survivor miracle mile, giving participants the chance to show their support and celebrate those who have overcome heart disease and stroke.
In addition to the walk, the event will include health activities and entertainment, making it a fun and informative day for all. The American Heart Association is a sponsor of Sonoran Living, and the main sponsor of the 2025 West Valley Heart Walk is Abrazo Health. Sun Health is the Live Fierce Take Action sponsor for the event.
The 2025 West Valley Heart Walk is the third annual event of its kind, and the goal this year is to raise $500,000 for heart disease and stroke research. This is a crucial step towards a healthier future for our community.
