Kazakhstan Reports 152 New COVID-19 Cases, Highest in East Kazakhstan Region

In the past 24 hours, Kazakhstan has recorded 152 new cases of COVID-19, according to information provided by Almaty.tv, citing Coronavirus2020.kz. The East Kazakhstan region has seen the highest number of infections during this period.

The distribution of cases across the country is as follows:- Nur-Sultan city: 15- Almaty city: 20- Shymkent city: 3- Akmola region: 12- Aktau region: 1- Almaty region: 12- Atyrau region: 5- Jambyl region: 4- West Kazakhstan region: 8- Karaganda region: 10- Kostanay region: 6- Mangystau region: 6- Pavlodar region: 13- North Kazakhstan region: 9- Türkeistan region: 1

Over this period, 52 patients have recovered, with the regions of Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, and Türkeistan reporting recoveries. As of the current report, a total of 105,618 individuals have recovered from COVID-19 in Kazakhstan.

In addition, 163 cases of pneumonia with symptoms indicative of COVID-19 infection, and 18 recoveries, have been reported over the last 24 hours.

Since August 1, Kazakhstan has registered a total of 36,895 infections, 393 deaths, and 28,460 recoveries.
