The Kamchatka Ministry of Health has announced new sanatorium treatment programs aimed at providing rehabilitation for working citizens and vulnerable groups. These programs, named "Rehabilitation," "Mother and Child," and a regional program for priority categories, are designed to enhance the well-being of the community.

Under the "Rehabilitation" program, working citizens can benefit from sanatorium treatment. The Kamchatka Ministry of Health is responsible for the organization of these additional rehabilitation and sanatorium programs.

For children, there is a dedicated program called "Mother and Child," which offers sanatorium treatment.

For more information about these rehabilitation and sanatorium programs, interested individuals can contact the Kamchatka Ministry of Health at 8 (4152) 42-47-02 (ext. 7, ext. 2721). However, it is important to note that specific information on eligibility criteria for free rehabilitation programs for priority groups in the Kamchatka region was not found.

Based on general knowledge, rehabilitation programs for priority groups, such as veterans, disabled individuals, low-income families, or socially vulnerable populations, typically have eligibility criteria that include:

  • Membership in a priority social group as defined by regional or federal social protection laws.
  • Medical or social needs assessed by authorized professionals.
  • Residence in the Kamchatka region.
  • Sometimes income level criteria or proof of disability or special status.

For applying, contact is usually made through the regional Ministry of Social Development or the local branch of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, which can provide official forms and guidance.

Unfortunately, the search results did not yield contacts for the Kamchatka Regional Ministry of Social Development or Labor and Social Protection departments, local social services or centers for social assistance, or official regional government websites or public health institutions. If needed, assistance can be provided to find these contacts.

For the regional program for priority categories, participants should visit the Multifunctional Center (MFC) in Kamchatka. Funding for the rehabilitation is provided from the compulsory medical insurance (CMI) funds, and vouchers for sanatorium treatment are provided in order of priority, including free accommodation and medical procedures.

A separate procedure is provided for federal beneficiaries (disabled, children with disabilities, veterans of combat actions). They should apply directly to the Kamchatka branch of the Social Security Fund at 56 Lenin Street, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, tel. 8 (4152) 21-80-58.

Participants of the special military operation, dismissed from military service, are sent for rehabilitation to "Pearl of Kamchatka" by regional medical institutions. The eligibility, application process, and contact information for the earlier mentioned regional program remain the same.

For more information about the program, contact the Ministry of Social Welfare at 8 (4152) 42-83-55 (extension 2973). It is recommended to contact the appropriate authorities for precise eligibility criteria and contact details in Kamchatka.

Under the "Rehabilitation" program, mental health treatments and therapies are also available for working citizens, aiming to support their overall health-and-wellness and improve their mental health. These mental health rehabilitation programs for priority groups typically have eligibility criteria such as membership in a priority social group, medical or social needs assessment, residence in the Kamchatka region, and sometimes income level criteria or proof of disability or special status.
