70-Year-Old Rescued After Stroke-Like Symptoms in Kenkeme River Area

A 70-year-old man was rescued from the Kenkeme River area after reporting stroke-like symptoms. The man, who was in distress, managed to contact his wife via satellite phone on September 30th. A swift response saw the Yakutsk Rescue Team dispatched to the scene.

The rescue team, comprising two rescuers, four medics, and one ministry employee, departed at 22:40 on September 30th. They located the man and provided immediate medical attention. The patient was then transported to a medical facility in Yakutsk, arriving at 06:40 on October 1st. The man's wife had raised the alarm, and her quick thinking in contacting the authorities likely saved her husband's life.

The Yakutsk Rescue Team's prompt response and efficient coordination with medical services ensured the safe transportation of the patient to Yakutsk for further treatment. The man's condition is currently being assessed at the medical facility.
